In Lok Sabha election 2019, opposition continuously attacks PM Modi. Meanwhile, PM Modi is getting respect from many countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honoured with Russia’s highest state decoration, the Order of St Andrew the Apostle.
The Russian award comes barely a week after the Prime Minister was conferred with United Arab Emirates’s highest civilian decoration, the Order of Zayed, which is awarded to people who contribute to international leadership in strengthening relations with the country.
The award has been given to PM Modi for “exceptional services in promoting a special and privileged strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India and friendly relations between the Russian and Indian peoples”, a statement by the Russian embassy said.
PM Modi will be the first Prime Minister of the country who has received so many international honours. In February of this year, South Korea also awarded the Seoul Peace Prize to the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi who was honoured with this award was the first Indian person. On April 4, PM Modi was honoured with his prestigious Zayed Medal for giving “a lot of boosts” to bilateral strategic relations.
