After PM Narendra Modi, the film will be made on West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee. There is continuous misunderstanding into the electoral atmosphere of PM Narendra Modi’s film. The Election Commission has banned its release. At the same time, there was a lot of fluctuation in politics about the film made on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Mamta Banerjee’s film ‘Baghini’ will be released on 3 May in all cinemas.
The movie director and producer say that this is not a biopic made on Mamta Banerjee, but seeing the poster can be clearly seen that, the sister of Bengal, ie, Mamta Banerjee is ‘Baghini’. Regardless of the timing of PM Modi in the film, the character of comrade Jyoti Basu has been shown.
The film titled “Baghini” (The Tigress) was made after three years of research on the leader, director of the film Nehal Dutta said. The filmmaker said he took the help of articles, biographies and news video clippings to sketch the life story of the politician in the film. He, however, insisted that it was not intended to be a biopic of Banerjee.
