Congress-AAP alliance almost final, Rahul stamped on new condition

Congress chief Sheela Dikshit and Chacko had different views about the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party

All the parties have become active for the Lok Sabha elections and the election campaign has begun to come out loud. Meanwhile, sources are being quoted as saying that suspense between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi can be over an alliance.

In the seat-sharing and disagreement with the Delhi Congress organization, the alliance had not yet been formed in the two parties, but it is being told that Congress President Rahul Gandhi put his stamp on the coalition after the talks with Sheila Dikshit and PC Chacko in the state on Tuesday. However, its official announcement has not yet been made.

According to sources, the state Congress chief Sheela Dikshit and Chacko had different views about the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party. Because of which Rahul Gandhi called them and after hearing both sides agreed on this. According to the reports, Chacko believed that the party could win 7 seats in Delhi with help of alliance with Aam Aadmi party, while Sheila Dikshit had an objection to it.

It is being told that during the meeting, Rahul Gandhi laid the condition to PC Chacko, Sheila Dikshit and Ajay Maken that either fight with the AAP and win three seats or fight alone and win all seven seats. According to sources, in response to this, Sheila feared about winning seven seats. The formal announcement of this alliance can be made today.

Rahul Gandhi has agreed on the new coalition (4-3 seats). Under this, Congress will fight on 3 seats and Aam Aadmi Party will contest on 4 seats. According to Congress, they will contest from New Delhi seat, Chandni Chowk seat. From Congress, Kapil Sibbal may be the contender from Chandni Chowk and Ajay Maken from New Delhi. At the same time, the third seat of Congress can be given in the western and north-west constituencies.
